Focal Point Fires, Christchurch; Tops Day Nursery, Bournemouth; and Solent Rib Charters, New Forest, received recognition at the UK’s prestigious business awards, marking its 60th year. The awards celebrate the “strength, innovation, and ambition of British enterprise.” Blair McDougall, minister for small businesses, lauded the winning businesses for exemplifying the best of British talent. Solent Rib Charters was acknowledged for its innovative amphibious crew transfer vessel, while Tops Day Nursery was recognized for its sustainability efforts. Focal Point Fires was commended for its premium electric fires, all selected through a rigorous assessment process approved by the Prime Minister and sanctioned by The King.
