On July 3, Dorset will hold a ceremony to honor NHS, care, and frontline workers. The event, led by Councillor Stella Jones MBE at County Hall in Dorchester, coincides with the 78th anniversary of the NHS on July 5, recognizing those who supported communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. A one-minute silence will be observed for those lost, with attendees from various sectors, including health and emergency services. Councillor Jones emphasized gratitude for those who continued to serve during challenging times. The memorial will also feature flower plantings, and a large flag will fly above County Hall, welcoming public attendance.
