JP Morgan development faces objections

JP Morgan’s plan for a five-storey office block and multi-storey car park in Bournemouth has received a recommendation for approval. The development aims to facilitate employees’ return to office work, offering food and drink facilities, flexible training spaces, and adding 104 parking spots, including more for the disabled. However, concerns have been raised about potential traffic congestion and overspill parking in the surrounding area. Local councillors have criticized the scheme for lacking a construction management plan and highlighted warnings from BCP Council about excessive car parking provision affecting local traffic. A decision is expected from the planning committee on July 6.
