A man has died after an incident on Southbourne Cliff Drive on June 26. Dorset Police were called at 11:19 AM concerning the man’s welfare near Fisherman’s Walk. It was reported that he fell from a height, and despite emergency services’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s identity has not been confirmed, and authorities stated the death is not suspicious, preparing a file for HM Coroner. The police referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, as officers were present when it occurred, and requested witnesses not to share any images or videos online.
