A woman died following a medical emergency on Southbourne promenade on June 22, 2026. The South Western Ambulance Service sent multiple emergency vehicles, including an air ambulance. Dorset Police responded at 2:21 PM to help clear the area for emergency services. Despite efforts, the woman was pronounced dead shortly after, near Fisherman’s Walk. Her next of kin has been notified, and the coroner is involved.
