Residents near Suffolk Avenue in Christchurch are still unable to return home following the discovery of a suspected explosive device by Dorset Police on Monday. Although the device was removed that evening, a 50-metre cordon remains in place as further searches are conducted. Three individuals, including two men and a woman, have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and are in police custody. BCP Council is providing accommodation support for affected residents, who can contact its out-of-hours team for assistance during the ongoing situation.
