BCP Council has invested £11,000 to enhance the Fisherman’s Walk play area, adding new wooden stilts, a play boat, and repaired swings. Supported by Boscombe East and Pokesdown councillor Eleanor Connolly, the upgrades aimed to revitalize the previously underused space. Connolly noted that the new equipment has improved the area significantly. This initiative is part of BCP Council’s broader strategy to upgrade over 120 play areas across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.
