Bournemouth Pier will remain free to access as part of a summer savings initiative, supporting the Government’s Great British Summer Savings program. This program, starting June 25, reduces VAT on children’s attractions and leisure activities from 20% to 5% until September 1, including birthday packages. Adventure Attractions, managing Bournemouth Pier and RockReef, is offering discounts on selected activities until the same date. Managing Director Sarah Hunter views the removal of the toll as a significant investment in local tourism and a way to help families manage costs during summer outings.
