Talbot Village’s New Defibrillator Has an Inspiring Story

A new community defibrillator has been installed on Gillett Road in Talbot Village, funded through a campaign spearheaded by the Talbot Village Residents’ Association. The initiative arose from a survivor of anaphylaxis who emphasized the need for a defibrillator. Jo Keeling, chair of the association, reflected on the collective efforts of those involved, including a donor and a volunteer who had personal experiences with cardiac incidents. The defibrillator, supplied by AEDdonate, will be accessible through the ambulance service. The association expressed gratitude to local businesses and residents for their contributions to this life-saving project.
