Brothers Ken (60) and Neil Wood (59) completed a challenging 1,230-mile bike ride from Land’s End to John o’ Groats over 23 days, raising £7,000 for charity, which increased to £8,500 with Gift Aid. They faced steep climbs, picturesque paths, and strong headwinds, evoking both struggle and beauty throughout their journey. Along the way, they met many kind individuals, including a woman with terminal cancer who inspired their fundraising efforts. Celebrating their journey’s end with family, Ken remarked on the adventure’s significance, emphasizing the memorable connections made and the hope that emerges from pursuing dreams.
