Marjorie House in Poole raises over £700 for RNLI

Marjorie House in Poole organized open days and fairs to support the RNLI’s Poole and District Fundraising Branch, raising £735 over the year. Lynn Malcolm from the RNLI expressed gratitude for the support, noting it would aid their lifesaving efforts. Residents chose the RNLI due to their personal connections and the home’s location near Poole Harbour. Georgie Powell, home manager, highlighted the rewarding experience of fundraising for such a vital cause. Marjorie House was recently rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and recognized as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in the South West at the 2026 Care Home Awards.
