On September 11, 2025, at around 10 am, Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team attempted to stop a white Renault Megane at Ashley Heath Roundabout. The vehicle fled down the A31 towards Ringwood and was not found despite searches. The identified driver, a 29-year-old from Ringwood, was subsequently charged with failing to stop, driving without valid insurance, and driving without due care. He pleaded guilty and is scheduled to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on June 4, 2026. Police Constable Chandler Organ emphasized that they will act against dangerous motoring to make Dorset’s roads safer.
