Myrtle Smith, 99, along with fellow residents Muriel Brown and Tessa Cooper from Colten Care’s Bourne View, attended a Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra concert at Lighthouse Poole. They enjoyed works by Beethoven, Vaughan Williams, and Bax. The evening included a special behind-the-scenes interaction with musicians, enhancing their experience. Muriel appreciated meeting the musicians, including those known by her daughter, a former BSO member. Tessa called the night “wonderful,” expressing surprise at the personal meetings. Richard Croft from Bourne View noted it was a memorable outing, evoking fond memories for the residents due to the music’s immersive atmosphere.
