The Junior Mayor and Junior Town Crier competition will take place on July 4 at Wimborne Model Town and Gardens, starting at 2 PM. The event is designed to engage youth in civic life and develop their public speaking skills. Open to children aged 6-14 for Town Crier and 9-18 for Junior Mayor, participants will present a town cry or a speech on improving Wimborne Minster, respectively. Judging criteria include enthusiasm, clarity, creativity, and community passion.
