The new design aims for an eco-friendly approach, incorporating existing structures and a landscape strategy to enhance native planting and preserve mature trees. Agents argue that the project won’t significantly impact the environment, thus not requiring a full Environmental Impact Assessment. It is anticipated that fewer guests will alleviate pressure on nearby heathland and reduce pollution risks. Kingfisher is nearing the submission of a new application for this redevelopment.
