The Christchurch Central Women’s Institute (WI) met on June 3 at Druitt Hall, engaging in activities like singing ‘Jerusalem’ and distributing birthday cards. They received thank-you letters for their charitable donations and plan a charity walk for the Associated Countrywide Women of the World. Upcoming events include regular coffee, lunch, and book group meetings, a craft event in September, and participation in Dorset Federation’s cake stall at Bestival. Trisha Lewis entertained with a 1970s-themed talk, while Neal Adams will speak at the July meeting. New members and visitors are welcome, and more information is available on their Facebook page.
