Michael ‘Mitch’ Mitchell, 35, from Chelmsford, Essex, is believed to be the alleged murder victim. He is thought to have entered the water from a sailing boat near Arne Bay on May 29. Dorset Police were notified of his disappearance only on May 31, and his body was discovered in Poole Harbour on June 2. The police have arrested three men associated with Mitchell, who have been granted bail as investigations continue. A forensic post-mortem has been conducted, but the cause of death remains unconfirmed. Authorities are seeking information from the public to assist the investigation.
