“Baby Brain,” a one-woman show co-written and performed by Kimberley Nixon, will be at Lighthouse Poole on July 2 as part of its UK tour. The play revolves around Cass, a new mother facing postpartum psychosis, and employs voice notes and stand-up routines to engage the audience. Co-written with Tim Clague and Danny Stack, it premiered in Cardiff to rave reviews. The show, which Nixon ties to her own advocacy for mental health awareness, is endorsed by Action on Postpartum Psychosis. Nixon is excited to bring her personal and community-focused story to wider audiences, including the Edinburgh Fringe.
