Marie Brooker, founder of Wolf&Root, will launch the South West’s first Canine Wellbeing Retreat this summer. Combining grooming with wellbeing practices, the retreat aims to provide a calm environment for dogs, especially those anxious about grooming. It will focus on nervous system care, using natural products and allowing extended appointment times, limiting each stylist to three dogs per day. Brooker, with over ten years of experience, emphasizes emotional wellbeing alongside grooming. The retreat’s approach challenges traditional high-volume grooming, promoting animal welfare, and aims to set a new standard in the grooming industry. Bookings will open on July 1.
