A black Lexmoto moped was stolen from outside the Junction Sports and Leisure Centre in Broadstone on May 29. The moped was later seen being driven dangerously around local roundabouts. An off-duty officer, aided by a member of the public, detained the rider on Lower Blandford Road around 9 PM. A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft and driving offenses but was released on bail. Police Constable Harrison Downer urged witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Dorset Police via their online portal or by calling 101, quoting the occurrence number.
