Adventure Buddies, a group formed alongside The Dorset Children’s Foundation, is organizing a colorful fundraising walk from Boscombe Pier to Bournemouth Pier on June 13, aimed at supporting disabled children and their families. Participants are invited to wear rainbow colors and decorate wheelchairs to raise awareness of the challenges faced by families with children who have profound learning disabilities. The group meets monthly for sensory and social activities, though it relies on fundraising for resources. Co-Founder Patsy Hallmey emphasized the importance of community support for providing enjoyable experiences for these children.
