DSAA Volunteers Provided CPR Training for Holt Residents

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA) volunteers recently conducted CPR and defibrillator training sessions at Holt Village Hall for over fifty residents near Wimborne. The training included recognizing heart attacks, appropriate CPR usage, and how to handle choking. Participants practiced techniques with training dummies, with one attendee expressing newfound confidence in using CPR, stating they previously feared causing harm. DSAA emphasized that prior CPR training improves outcomes during cardiac emergencies. Residents of all ages took part, gaining practical skills to help others in emergencies. The initiative reinforces community preparedness for medical situations.
