Applications are now open for residents to lead a £20 million regeneration programme in West Howe, called Pride in Place. This decade-long initiative aims to enhance the community based on local input. A Neighbourhood Board will be formed, consisting of residents, community groups, and businesses, led by an independent Neighbourhood Chair. MP Jessica Toale highlighted the significance of this opportunity for local influence. Applications for the chair close on July 10, with interviews from July 20-24, and the chair expected by August 3. Residents’ priorities include youth services, green space, and community connectivity.
