Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has introduced Access 500, a civic initiative providing 500 free learning opportunities over the next five years for underrepresented individuals, including those NEET (not in employment, education, or training). This program aligns with AUB’s Strategy 2030+ to promote inclusive growth and social mobility. Vice Chancellor Lisa Mann emphasized the importance of cultivating a sense of belonging and empowerment. Collaborating with schools and community organizations, Access 500 aims to remove barriers to creative education. The initiative also connects with the AUB Academy, offering flexible learning options and reinforcing AUB’s role in fostering a more inclusive cultural economy.
