Residents invited to shape £20m local plans

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council is inviting residents to join new Pride in Place neighbourhood boards in Boscombe West, Hamworthy West, Turlin Moor, and West Howe, which are set to receive up to £20 million in Government funding over the next decade. The boards will prioritize community needs, shape plans, and oversee budget allocation, comprised of residents, community groups, businesses, and local representatives, with an independent chair for each area. Councillor Sandra Moore emphasized the program’s focus on community collaboration and encouraged local residents to apply.
