Julia’s House has expanded its children’s hospice in Corfe Mullen to meet the increasing demand for specialized care, particularly for older children with complex, life-limiting conditions. The extension provides enhanced facilities, including wider corridors, improved end-of-life care areas, and upgraded bathrooms with immersive features like music and disco lights. The new Mermaid Suite offers larger sleeping accommodations for children and parents. Funded through a government grant and donations, the project prioritizes comfort and accessibility, showing strong community support as reflected in positive feedback from families about the improvements.
