BCP Council acknowledged the ongoing issues and is exploring long-term solutions, highlighting alternative step-free access options. Councillor Richard Herrett emphasized accessibility alternatives like disabled spaces on the ground floor and ramped access to the centre. Complaints persist regarding the impact on both visitors and businesses due to the unresolved lift situation.
