Many lifts at the Dolphin Centre car parks in Poole are still out of order. In April, all six lifts in the multi-storey car park were non-functional, and as of May 28, only two lifts in the Dolphin Centre and Shoppers One car parks were operational. Shoppers Two has no working lifts, hindering step-free access to ground level. Centre manager John Grinnell reported that this situation significantly affects visitors and retailers, urging BCP Council for a clear repair timeline. The council is exploring long-term solutions and highlighting alternative step-free access options.
