The slapstick comedy “A Shoddy Detective and The Art Of Deception” will perform at Lighthouse Poole from April 19-21, 2027, after successful runs at various festivals. The show features a bumbling detective solving a painting theft with the aid of an old rival, as they interrogate colorful suspects. Described as “witty and good clean fun,” the production highlights Shoddy Theatre’s growth since its founding in 2018. Tickets will go on sale on May 29.
