The Kings Head in Poole, a historic 16th-century pub near Poole Quay, has been acquired by Punch Pubs & Co from Hall & Woodhouse. It is set to reopen under new management in June, following renovations to enhance its appeal. Punch Pubs’ Andrew Cannons expressed enthusiasm about the pub’s local significance and potential for growth. Operations manager Rachael Henry is currently recruiting new management partners to maintain the community-focused atmosphere and diverse entertainment offerings. According to Hall & Woodhouse’s Mark James, the Kings Head is a valuable establishment that will benefit from the new ownership.
