Approximately 200 people have been evacuated from Ferndown Industrial Estate after a vehicle hit a small gas main. The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident at 12:14 PM, sending crews from Ferndown and Wimborne, with support from Dorset Police and gas engineers. A 25-meter exclusion zone has been established, and entrances to nearby roads are being controlled by police. Several businesses in the area have closed for the afternoon as safety measures are implemented. Residents are advised to avoid the area while emergency services work to secure it.
