The Diamond Divas choir has dedicated 13 years to fundraising for Macmillan Caring Locally (MCL), which supports the Macmillan Unit hospice at Christchurch Hospital. Co-ordinator Josie Spicer noted the choir’s mission began with the aim of using music to help MCL. They perform at various venues, infusing fun and laughter into their events. Recently, they raised £360 at Fairlawn care home, contributing to a total of £80,000 raised so far. The choir seeks to increase its annual fundraising to about £10,000, aiming for a total of £100,000 by 2028.
