Skegness Beach has been identified as the UK’s most littered beach for the second consecutive year, generating the highest number of litter-related complaints on TripAdvisor. A recent study revealed that 265 out of 9,054 reviews mentioned litter, highlighting issues with discarded items like beer bottles and vapes. Expert Mark Hall emphasized that such litter not only detracts from beach enjoyment but also poses a threat to wildlife. He urged beachgoers to take their litter home, calling for better local council support through signage and community involvement, alongside fines for persistent offenders.
