Pam Woodall has been named a finalist in BBC Gardeners’ World magazine’s ‘Best of the Best’ competition, celebrating the magazine’s 10th anniversary for ‘Garden of the Year.’ Her garden, which won ‘Wildlife Garden of the Year’ in 2016, features two contrasting sections: an upper tropical area with palms and a pond, and a lower section transformed into a wildlife haven with various species. While nearby mature gardens are being replaced with artificial landscapes, Woodall has created a sanctuary for both wildlife and humans. The overall winner will be announced in the magazine’s October issue.
