The inaugural Southbourne Food & Fun Festival took place on May 16th, organized by Stir Events CIC in collaboration with local Rotary clubs. The event showcased various community-focused projects like AquaBox and ShelterBox, and included cooking demonstrations, dance classes, and discussions on wellbeing and sustainability. Thousands attended the festival, which was aimed at promoting Rotary’s commitment to community support and global initiatives. Rotary district governor Richard Burnett highlighted its role in connecting communities and fostering awareness. Organizers praised the significant support from Rotary members throughout the planning process, contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere.
