Dorset CPRE online conference scheduled for 9 June

Dorset CPRE’s 2026 event, “Getting the Balance Right between Dorset’s Housing, Nature and the Countryside,” will occur on June 9 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The conference aims to address the preservation of Dorset’s landscapes and biodiversity amid development pressures. Key speakers include Kate Adie, Imogen Davenport, and Professor Malcolm Tait, discussing planning policies, conservation, and water management. Councillors Nick Ireland and Millie Earl will highlight the challenges of balancing development with environmental protection. The event will feature presentations followed by a debate and Q&A session, organized by Dorset’s Campaign to Protect Rural England.
