At the club’s May meeting, over 50 members attended a hanging basket planting demonstration by David Bassil, who raffled two baskets, raising over £70 for club funds. The planning group also showcased a publicity table at the Allendale Community Centre open day on May 17. Two days later, more than 40 members participated in a coach trip to RHS Gardens at Wisley. Upcoming events include a meeting on June 1 at St Catherine’s Church Hall, featuring Stephen Brown discussing butterfly decline in Dorset. The club invites everyone to join future events, including the late summer show on September 5.
