Asda employee raises hundreds for breast cancer charities

Nicky Pelling, a community champion at Asda in Bournemouth, undertook a 30-day sea swimming challenge in April for the Tickled Pink campaign, benefiting Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! Despite frigid temperatures, Nicky successfully raised around £400, motivated by her personal experience with her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis over 40 years ago. Her efforts were recognized by Asda on their social media platforms. Nicky emphasized the importance of self-checks and early detection for better outcomes, sharing her passion for health awareness while balancing her role at Asda and her work as a support worker.
