Mark Hix MBE has opened a temporary restaurant, Mark’s, at The Pop-Up Kitchen on Broad Street. The experienced chef, known for previous roles at prestigious venues like The Ivy, aims to simplify dining amidst hospitality challenges. Operating two nights a week, the menu features dishes like prawn cocktail, chocolate mousse, and Devon-sourced sharing steaks, focusing on local produce, including foraged ingredients. Hix plans seasonal offerings, including seafood in warmer months. The restaurant is expected to remain open until at least the year’s end, with online bookings available.
