On May 20, Dorset Police received reports of a man shouting and swearing near The Yeatman Hospital and Cheap Street. Officers from the Sherborne Neighbourhood Policing Team found he was not a local resident. After determining he posed no mental health risks, they issued him a Section 35 notice, banning him from the area for 12 hours. He was subsequently taken to the train station. Dorset Police emphasized they do not tolerate antisocial behavior, thanking residents for their reports and patience during the incident.
