Wimborne Golf Day Raises £17,624 for Heartbeat Charity

A golf tournament at Remedy Oak Golf Club in Wimborne raised £17,624 for the cardiac charity Heartbeat, benefiting patients and their families. Matthew Cornick, Heartbeat’s fundraising coordinator, expressed gratitude to participants for their support. Seventeen teams participated, with Lee Peck Media winning first place. The funds will help renovate Rotary Heartbeat House, a facility providing emergency accommodation for families of patients, especially those traveling from the Dorset area. Cornick emphasized the importance of the house as a comforting space for families during critical times.
