The Italian Group in Purbeck won two first place titles and a second place at a Devon competition, lauded for their multi-seed sourdough and cheesecake brownie, with a runner-up position for their Italian herb and olive sourdough. Group manager Istvan Kohazi highlighted the event’s success in fostering connections with suppliers and peers. Originally starting as the Italian Kitchen in 2016, the now-expanded Italian Bakery includes various sourdoughs, sweet and savory baked goods, and a takeaway service. The bakery is noted for its Dorset apple cake and has been recognized in a top bakery list by The Times.
