Lorry driver injured after crash into tree on A31

On May 19, at approximately 5:10 PM, an overturned lorry incident occurred on the A31 near Corfe Mullen. Emergency services, including Dorset Police, firefighters from Wimborne, Poole, and Christchurch, along with the ambulance service, responded promptly. The driver was rescued before firefighters arrived and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fire crews made the scene safe by 6:01 PM, after which the road was partially reopened with traffic management in place. Police confirmed a road closure was necessary while addressing the situation, and firefighters found that the lorry had collided with a tree.
