This initiative aims to provide hairdressing students with specialist training focused on sustainable practices. Beate Graham, a lecturer at the college, emphasized the importance of integrating premium, environmentally-conscious products into their curriculum. The college’s upcoming relocation to the £36 million Compass Building will feature five state-of-the-art salons, further enhancing students’ learning experiences in a changing industry. Hayes expressed excitement about the future of sustainable hairdressing.
