Council repairs Poole sinkhole deemed an “immediate danger”

A sinkhole at the junction of Salterns Road and Curzon Road has been fixed following reports from concerned residents about public safety. One resident highlighted the potential danger to cyclists passing by, particularly those commuting from Ashley Cross’s bars and restaurants. BCP Council promptly addressed the issue, starting repairs on Friday and completing them by Monday. A spokesperson confirmed that the area is now safe and reopened for public use. Wessex Water conducted an investigation but found no leaks or issues with their assets. The council assured that the sinkhole has been completely resolved.
