The Red Lion pub in Winfrith has revealed its new design after a £300,000 refurbishment and eight-week transformation funded by Hall & Woodhouse and Barr & Barr’s Hospitality Ltd. With a contemporary open-plan layout and an expanded dining area, the pub can now accommodate 33% more guests. Rob Barr, co-founder of Barr & Barr, aims to create a welcoming space for relaxation and gatherings. The redesign honors original features like 17th-century timber beams and a historic fireplace. The pub will also reintroduce a smokehouse menu and host community events. An additional £15,000 will refresh its five guest bedrooms.
