The Echo’s Dorset Camera Club member shared a breathtaking sunset photograph of Grange Arch, also known as Creech Folly, located near Ridgeway Hill in Dorset. Built in 1746 by Dennis Bond, this ornamental structure exhibits no practical purpose, serving only to enhance the landscape with its castle-like appearance. Originally part of Creech Grange, built in Tudor style, the folly is now maintained by the National Trust. A 1930s campaign promoted such follies, encouraging exploration of Britain’s landmarks. The club invites photography enthusiasts to share their work on social media, fostering community engagement across Dorset and the New Forest.
