Tricuro’s Wallfield Residential Care Home in Bournemouth organized a four-day Beach Promenade Challenge, inviting residents, staff, families, and supporters to walk along the coast to fundraise for resident amenities. Participants raised over £1,000 by completing various sections of the promenade from Southbourne to Bournemouth Piers. Nicky, the registered manager, expressed pride in the teamwork and determination displayed. Tricuro’s chief executive, Marianne Wanstall, praised the initiative, highlighting its positive impact on the residents’ experience. The event was a collective effort to enhance the quality of life for those at Wallfield, showcasing community spirit and support.
