Cyclist’s petition raises safety concerns at A31 crossroads

Alex Guiver from Sturminster Marshall has launched a petition urging Dorset Council to address safety concerns at the Dullar Lane junction on the A31, citing poor visibility caused by overgrown hedgerows. As a cyclist, he has experienced multiple near-misses at this location, which he describes as hazardous. Guiver argues that cutting back or removing these hedges could significantly improve safety for both cyclists and motorists. He plans to present these concerns to the Council at an open meeting on May 21. Other cyclists have shared similar worries, emphasizing the need for action to enhance visibility and safety.
