The Town Mayor’s Annual Civic Thanksgiving Service occurred on May 10 at Wimborne Minster, led by Town Mayor Councillor Jeff Hart and Mayoress Barbara Hart. The event welcomed civic dignitaries from Dorset, honoring local community groups, organizations, and volunteers. The service featured a procession with the Quarterjacks Marching Band, and readings by members of the Millstream Disabled Theatre Group. Conducted by The Reverend Canon Andrew Rowland, the service included music from the Jubilate and Minster Choirs. Following the service, guests enjoyed a musketry demonstration and a reception, reflecting strong community spirit in Wimborne.
